The Data Inspector Library relies on the source data from structured data sources. There are several types of data sources:
- File: A local file that you import into your library.
- Catalog: A connection to a catalog in the HERE Open Location Platform (OLP).
- Layer: Each catalog in the Data Service can have multiple layers with different data.
- Coverage: A special "meta" data source that you pair with a standard data source. This data source shows you coverage information for the paired data source. For more information, see Coverage Data.
If you are using an OLP catalog as a data source, you will need to authenticate with OLP and obtain permissions to access that catalog from the catalog owner.
