Start using your purchased data

Once you have completed your purchase of HERE data, you can use it in your projects. To start using your data:

  1. Link the data to a project
  2. Select a method to access the data

On the HERE platform, data is used and managed via projects. A project is an access-controlled, user-created, and user-managed collection of resources (catalogs, pipelines and schemas). To access data you have purchased on HERE Marketplace, you need to link it to a project. For more information on projects, see the Identity & Access Management Guide.

Follow these steps to link your data catalog to a project:

  1. Open the Subscription & Billing Portal from the Launcher to verify that the data product you have purchased is listed among your subscriptions.

  2. Find your project under the Projects Manager. Notice how the catalogs from the newly-purchased data product are not in the list of catalogs linked to your projects.

  3. Click Add catalog and select Link a catalog from the drop-down list.

  4. Find the catalog contained in the product you purchased and click Link.

  5. Enable linking for the subresources you wish to link and click Apply.
