Hydrography

The Hydrography layer includes cartographic content representing water features of various types, such as Lakes, Rivers, Bays, Oceans, and more. The Hydrography content is static and can be represented as polygonal or linear geometry objects. Examples: ocean, bay, lake, river


Type of content included Description
Geometry Geometry of the Hydrography represented as either polygonal or polyline geometry.
Object ID of the cartographic object (polygonal or polyline object) is the primary map object identifier.
Name Name(s) applicable to the Hydrography.
Attribution Attribution applicable to the Hydrography, like classification, display class. Possibly, a Label Point is included for Hydrography.
