Geocode tutorials

The /geocode endpoint is used to find the geo-coordinates of a known address, place, locality or administrative area, even if the query is incomplete or partly incorrect. It also returns a complete postal address string and address details.

• Depending on the query, the /geocode endpoint returns results of type houseNumber, place, street, postalCodePoint, locality, administrativeArea
• The query can be formulated as free-form text, as a set of qualified address components or as a combination of these two types - "hybrid" query
• Additionally, the application can restrict results to a specific area or set a spatial context for the location-based search
