Lane Model

The Lane Model can be thought of as a hierarchy of topology and geometry:

• The topology layer indicates the connectivity of lanes and groups of lanes, with some limited 2D geographic detail.
• The geometry layer provides geo-located 3D polyline geometry for the components of the lane model, such as lane boundaries and lane paths.

These topology and geometry layers can bear attributes, which are described in the subsections herein.
