Lane Forming/Ending

indicates the lane forming and lane ending when the number of lanes changes between two consecutive road segments.

can be used for display to determine on which side of the road a lane is forming.

• is a Lane only attribute.
• is applied based on the lane travel direction. For an example, see the following figure.

• (Lane Forming/Ending) may be used in conjunction with Lane Type (Auxiliary Lane) or Lane Type (Passing Lane/Overtaking Lane) if the additional lane forms and ends on one road segment. For an example, see the following figure.
