Fixture Status

Definition

Fixture Status indicates how a camera is fixed at a location.

Values Description
0 Unknown
1 Permanent
2 Pre-announced
3 Mobile
4 Trial
5 Decommissioned
6 Obsolete
7 Expired

Usage

Fixture Status can be used to adapt driving behaviour with respect to the camera’s permanence.

Specification

  • One Fixture Status is applied on each camera.

  • Fixture Status is applied according to the following:
    • Unknown - applied if the Fixture Status is not known or not available.
    • Permanent - applied when a camera is permanently installed.
    • Pre-announced - applied when a location is commonly used for non-permanent cameras. Use of cameras at these locations must be pre-announced by law.
    • Mobile - applied when a location is commonly used for non-permanent cameras.
    • Trial - applied for cameras that are installed for trial or for research only.
    • Decommissioned - applied for cameras that ceased operation or may have been just removed.
    • Obsolete - applied for locations that had cameras.
    • Expired - applied for cameras that are no longer active.
