Environmental Zone
Definition
Environmental Zone
condition identifies road segments that are located within an Environment Zone area.
Usage
Environmental Zone
condition can be used to inform the user of the special limitation on the road and may be used in route calculation to avoid routing on participating road segments.
Specification
-
Environmental Zone
condition informs that a road segment is within an Environmental Zone. -
When an Environmental Zone polygon exists for a city or area, all road segments inside the related Environmental Zone polygon receive the Environmental Zone condition according to the road access characteristics.Condition's Access may occasionally be extending the road access characteristics. For example, on a road with no access to Trucks only, an
Environmental Zon
e condition that applies to Auto, Buses, and Trucks may be applied. -
Roads within an Environmental Zone may not be involved in an
Environmental Zone
condition if they are exempted from the Environmental Zone restriction (i.e., motorway intersecting a city or built-up).
