This section provides reference to the data models returned by Venue Maps API.
What is a Model?
A Model is a JSON file which contains detailed information about a specific venue.
Venue Maps API offers two Model Types: Full Models, and Points of Interest (POI) Models.
Why use a Model?
A Model is useful if you would like to use Venue Maps fully yet, Maintain your own user-experience and Look-and-Feel. It offers a fully customizable approach with maximum information usage.
How to get Venue ID for a certain venue?
There are several ways to get Venue ID:
- By using the Discovery Service, and passing the geographical area to search inside as an input.
- If you are already using Image Tiles and Interaction Tiles or Interaction Tiles with base 64 Encoded Image and would like to detect what other venues exist in the view port; In the Response of Interaction tile Request an Interaction Tile The property
buildingIdof Floor IATileMember contains venue identifier, which was in that case for Union Station:
DM_12321. Similarly, the same property exists in the response of Interaction Tiles with base 64 encoded Image example response.
