Truck Profile

Truck Profile is a set of request parameters that are essential for Truck Routing. They specify the truck attributes used in route calculation. The Truck Profile includes the following parameters:

  • truckType
  • trailersCount
  • shippedHazardousGoods
  • limitedWeight
  • weightPerAxle
  • height
  • width
  • length
  • tunnelCategory
  • truckRestrictionPenalty

Truck Profile parameters are used for:

With Truck Profile parameters, roads and manuevers with certain restrictions may be excluded from route calculation. For example, the following parameter should be specified in a request to exclude roads forbidding vehicles higher than 4 meters:

The more complex example below excludes roads with any of the following restrictions:

  • no trucks with trailer
  • no vehicles with weight over 32.5 tons
  • no vehicles with trailer and weight over 32.5

&trailersCount=2
&limitedWeight=32.5
    

The example below excludes roads with any of the following restrictions:

  • no flammable materials
  • no explosive-flammabe materials
  • no hazardous gas
  • no materials harmful to water
  • no hazardous materials
&shippedHazardousGoods=flammable,gas,harmfulToWater

The example below excludes roads forbidding trailers or semi-trailers:
